Verse Seek helps you find and read the Bible verses cited in study material. Photograph a page, import an image, or type references, and the app looks up each verse and shows the full text in one list.
The app didn’t find a reference on my page.
Text recognition works best on clear, well-lit, printed pages. Try retaking the
photo straight-on with good lighting, or type the reference directly. Handwriting
and very stylized fonts may not be recognized.
A verse won’t load.
Verse text is fetched online, so an internet connection is required. If a lookup
fails, check your connection and tap refresh.
Which translations are available?
The Recovery Version, plus the public-domain King James Version, World English
Bible, American Standard Version, and Bible in Basic English. Choose your
translation in Settings.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Images are read on your device and are never uploaded. Only
the verse reference (e.g. “John 3:16”) is sent, to fetch the text.
